  • Yellow maple with berries – $2
  • Yellow Maple leaves – $2

Gather Materials

Make Wooden Pumpkin:

Materials

  • Cardboard
  • Wood can be stock, used pallet wood
  • Green Pain
  • Orange Pint
  • Black Marker

Tools

  • Saw
  • Paint brushes
Wooden Pumpkin – either pre-made or handmade
Pattern – Make a cardboard pattern and cut out.

Cut wooden pumpkin and paint

Use pattern and make cut out of wood

Pull ties for bow

Gaillardia
Sunflowers
Bittersweet
Maple leaves with berries
Olive colored leaves
Wire from cut stems

Hanger

Putting the hanger on
Use a pull tie to go around stem
Thread another pull tie through the first ties loop and snug the tie around the stem
Cut the tails

Next

Cut the stems
Cut the hops stems
Put the berries, bops and filler flower on the block and glue to the pumpkin

Make the Bow

Make a bow with 2 6 inch loops and a 5 inch loop, and 7 inch talls
Cut the pull tie tail off. Place the bow between the berry, hop, and filler bunches

Mechanics

Adding the flowers to the styro-foam. Here the styro-foam is show uncovered with some flowers stuck into it. You want to glue it to the pumpkin and be sure that it is covered with moss to hide the mechanics. You always want to hide the mechanics of your arrangements

Add olive colored leaves

Fluff bow and flowers
Add the bittersweet
Cut and add bittersweet
Bittersweet added

Bedspring Wires For Pumkpin Vine

Wrap wire on dowel
Slide off dowel
Bedspring wire
Curll some more wires with or with out leaves for wreath and attatch

Almost Fished

Make sure all is secure, add more floral moss to styrofoam block to hide the mecahics
Fluff flowers and bow, all done
